This presentation will be given by Tina James, Esq., member of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF).
Tina M. James, Esq. is the founder of Tina James Law, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, guardianship, and special needs planning for families navigating complex caregiving and decision-making challenges. She works closely with parents and caregivers of children and adults with disabilities to create thoughtful, practical plans that protect benefits, preserve autonomy where possible, and provide long-term stability.
Tina advises families on special needs trusts, guardianship and alternatives to guardianship, estate and trust administration, and long-term planning for loved ones who require ongoing support. She is known for her clear, compassionate approach and her ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable plans families can understand and implement.
Tina is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Florida and is a frequent speaker and educator on planning issues affecting special needs families. She brings both professional depth and personal insight to her work, with a strong commitment to advocacy, dignity, and future-focused planning.
