Join local photographer, Nancy Gallagher, for a photography reception at the Long Beach Island Library.

Her photography will be on display in the Long Beach Island Library meeting room throughout the month of May. All are welcome.

Nancy retired to Barnegat after teaching for 31 years. She eventually joined Southern Ocean Birding Group after seeing an item in The Sandpaper and learned that the club not only has interesting meetings, they also go on field trips. She knew next to nothing about birds, but just walking in nature was appeal enough. Though she knew little about photography, she bought a camera to help her identify the birds she was seeing. Soon she joined the photography club in Toms River to improve her skill.
