Special emphasis is given to Thomas Edison, Paul Robeson, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, and others from NJ who have contributed so much to the American music landscape. Presenter: Melissa Ziobro is a special professor of public history in the Monmouth University Department of History and Anthropology. She serves as editor for New Jersey Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal, a joint venture of the New Jersey Historical Commission, Rutgers University Libraries, and Monmouth University.
