Discover the vital role the Jersey Shore played in the fight for America's independence as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence this year.

The last skirmish of the American Revolution happened at Cedar Bridge Tavern in Barnegat, NJ on December 27, 1782. New Jersey experienced more military engagements than any other colony throughout the war. Learn how bitter personal grudges and local resources made this area a hotbed of activity during the Revolutionary War. 

This program is presented by staff from Cedar Bridge Tavern Historic Site.
