This presentation will focus on how to navigate the process for entry into the adult service system for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Topics will include the application process, an overview of services, and finding a support coordinator to assist you in selecting services. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Nicholl Vallee is a Transition & Employment Specialist with the Office of Transition to Adult Life & Employment at the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities. She is a dedicated advocate for schools, families, and students as they navigate the adult service system and transition into adulthood. Prior to her work at DDD, Nicholl worked for the New Jersey Department of Health. There, she served as a board-certified music therapist, working with individuals with mental illness and developmental disabilities.
