Learn to harness the smile of a Buddha for your own serenity and sense of peace. Presented by Shazia Zaman. Sponsored by Jackson Friends of the Library.
A Buddha statue often has a soft smile on its mouth. In that smile we witness serenity and peace. Smile is a powerful force that opens us to ease, and allows us to step away from the drive and forgetfulness of the mind. It allows us to rest and recollect our bearings, it is an offering to heal. Join us in this beautiful practice and learn to awaken your heart with a smile. New and experienced practitioners are welcome. Followed by Q&A. Sponsored by Jackson Friends of the Library.
