Whether you’re a gardener, nature lover, or just curious about where you live, this program will change how you see the ground beneath your feet.

Join Jennifer Krumins, Professor of Ecology at Montclair State University, Science Director at the Pinelands Alliance, and President of the Soil Ecology Society of America, for a fascinating look at Pinelands soil—why it matters and how it shapes everything from native plants to backyard gardens.

Learn why traditional gardening advice doesn’t always work here, how to work with Pinelands soil instead of against it, and what makes this globally rare ecosystem worth protecting.
