Come celebrate and learn about Juneteenth with the Ocean County Library.

The Ocean County Library invites the community to celebrate Juneteenth on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 11:00am-2:00pm at the Toms River Branch, Mancini Hall. This free event, sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation, honors the rich history and cultural significance of Juneteenth with light refreshments inspired by traditional “Jubilee Day” celebrations. With the “world cafe” activity, there will be an open and inclusive discussion to build on each other’s perspectives on the impact of cultural celebration. Diverse audiences will be brought together to discuss what Juneteenth is and how it is viewed.
