Jen Malia is the author of Too Sticky! Sensory Issues with Autism, The Infinity Rainbow Club series, and the forthcoming picture book, June’s Solar Oven. She will be discussing the importance of disability inclusion in books for children and why it matters for families and children who have any type of disability to feel seen in society. Discover how the author Jen Malia multitask being a full-time tenured English Professor, a children’s book author, and a mom to three neurodivergent children.
Local Ocean County bookseller, Thunder Road Books, will be on hand for attendees to purchase books by the author.
