This program will explain the difference between misuse and abuse of medications.

This program will focus on providing practical information regarding the appropriate use of non-opioid analgesic pain medication and non-pharmacological approaches to dealing with acute and chronic pain. Other topics covered include the importance of patient-physician communication and the proper storage of medications. This presentation is provided by staff of the Ocean County Health Department.
