In commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day, join speaker Amy Goodman as she shares her Grandpa Joseph's story of survival and resilience during the Holocaust.
Amy Goodman is the oldest granddaughter of four Holocaust survivors. Growing up, she heard their stories firsthand, and they were so deeply woven into her family life that, as a child, she assumed all Jewish grandparents were survivors. It wasn’t until her teenage years that she realized just how rare and remarkable her family’s history was. Now that her grandparents are no longer living, Amy feels a profound responsibility to preserve and share their experiences with others.
Each of Amy's grandparents had unique experiences, but for this presentation, she will be focusing on the survival story of her Grandpa Joseph. Born in 1920 in Poland, Joseph's story of resilience and survival is both powerful and deeply inspirational.
