In honor of November, National Veterans and Military Families Month, author Ronald Edward Negra will share the inspiring story of his mother, Agnes Joan Negra, who wrote to the families of POWs.
During World War II, Agnes liked to sit at her shortwave radio each night, listening to Radio Berlin as the Nazis read aloud the names of American soldiers they were holding as POWs. She would write to the families of these soldiers to let them know their loved ones were still alive! Please register.
Signed copies will be available for purchase after the program.
