In commemoration of Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, please join Zoey Guarino for a presentation about the fate of women and children during the genocide.
This year marks the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, which began on April 24th, 1915. This program, in honor of Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, will focus on the fate of women and children during the genocide. Topics of focus will include deportation, sexual violence, forced labor, rescue and memorialization. Classroom resources from Facing History and Ourselves will be highlighted.
