This year marks the 160th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's assassination. This program will delve into the lives and careers of Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth and how they tragically intersected.
In commemoration of the 160th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's assassination, join historian Greg Caggiano for a look at his life and political career, and how he became one of the most beloved (and controversial) presidents in American history. The program, which is not your typical Lincoln lecture, will also delve into the life and career of his assassin, John Wilkes Booth, and cover the chain of events and politics that led to Lincoln's untimely demise at Ford's Theater.
