Winter gardens do not have to be boring and dreary! This presentation will provide information regarding flowers and shrubs that have winter appeal. Presented by Rutgers Master Gardener Al Soyster.

Plants that have changing leaf color, changing stem color, long bloom periods, and attraction to birds that can brighten up your garden will be discussed.

Presented by Al Soyster of the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Ocean County. Rutgers Master Gardeners (RMGs) are trained and certified volunteers who assist Rutgers Cooperative Extension personnel in providing research-based information on sustainable horticultural practices to Ocean County residents.
