In honor of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell will be discussing how to safeguard your electronic devices and data against cyberattacks.
This presentation will provide the audience with an understanding of ransomware, a type of malicious software that attempts to extort money from victims by restricting access to computer systems, mobile devices, and files. New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC) staff will outline how ransomware works, why it's so prevalent, and how individuals and organizations can best protect themselves from a ransomware infection.
