Since 2005, ReClam theBay has been educating the public about the water quality in the Barnegat Bay Watershed and the importance of shellfish.

Learn about local efforts to bring shellfish back to Barnegat Bay. ReClam the Bay volunteers grow over 1 million hard clams and oysters each year and use them as living representatives of the bay ecosystem. This program also discusses changes in bay water quality, and steps to protect the shore area. Find out about opportunities to get involved and help this important cause! Sponsored by the Friends of the Island Library. Please register.
