This supportive and engaging presentation is designed to help students prepare for the exciting transition from middle school to high school. Target audience: 8th and 9th grade.

Students will learn what to expect academically, socially, and emotionally, and gain practical tips for staying organized, building healthy relationships, and getting involved. With a focus on confidence-building and goal-setting, this session helps ease fears, answer common questions, and empower students to start high school with a positive mindset and a plan for success. About NJ4S COMPASS: New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services, a new statewide initiative from the Department of Children and Families (DCF), was designed to enhance access for schools to provide FREE prevention and mental wellness services for students, staff, parents and caregivers. NJ4S COMPASS is a program of Preferred Behavioral Health Group.
