Volunteers Needed: Give Back with a Purpose

Become a Long-Term Ombudsman's Volunteer Advocate

Volunteer! Make a meaningful difference in the lives of nursing home residents through the New Jersey Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman's Certified Volunteer Advocate Program.

Certified Volunteer Advocates visit local nursing homes to support residents, help address concerns, and ensure individuals are treated with dignity and respect. Volunteers receive 36 hours of virtual training, mentoring, and ongoing support before being assigned to a facility close to their home. Flexible volunteer hours. Drop by to learn more about this meaningful volunteering opportunity from New Jersey Ombudsman's staff.
