Join us for a book reading with local Author and Illustrator Katie Tanis. We will be reading her latest book and creating a banana sea creature craft. Please register. Ages 5-12.

Katy Tanis is a children's book author, illustrator, and explorer. She has had her feet kissed by a sea lion in Peru, been pooped on by an orangutan in Borneo, and woken up with a tarantula in her bed in Nicaragua. Her award-winning artwork has been featured on products and in art shows around the world. She has an M.A. in Biology from Miami University, a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.F.A. in Art from Carnegie Mellon University. Her works include Animal Olympics, Love Under the Sea, Love in the Wild, I am the Jungle, Edward and Annie, and the Highly Sensitive Rabbit, to name a few.
