In honor of the Lacey Branch's 50th Anniversary join us as Jenkinson's Aquarium presents Penguin Pointers. Potential allergens. Please register. Sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation Grant.

In honor of the Lacey Branch's 50th Anniversary join us for an opening ceremony at 10:30am followed by Jenkinson’s Aquarium presents Penguin Pointers.  Waddle into the world of these beloved flightless birds! Learn their basic biology, where they live, the threats they face, how we can help them in the wild, and how we care for this endangered species at the Aquarium.  A flightless friend from Jenkinson’s Aquarium will make a special appearance. Potential allergens.  Please register.

This program sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation Grant.

After the program, Vampire Penguin, a shaved ice food truck, will be available outside for patrons to purchase delicious summer time treats. The food truck is sponsored by the Friends of the Lacey Library.
