Learn the secrets of composting and take home a free compost bin and sample, just in time for Earth Day!

  Celebrate Earth Day with an exciting hands-on program! Join the Ocean County Department of Solid Waste Management and Master Composter volunteers for “How to Compost,” an interactive workshop that will teach you how to turn kitchen scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich compost. The session includes a short recycling video, a live worm bin demonstration, and practical tips for reducing waste and improving soil health. Every attendee will receive a free compost bin and a sample of compost produced at Ocean County facilities. Don’t miss this chance to go green and make a difference in your own backyard!
