Celebrate the Lunar New Year with an exciting and colorful lion dance presentation!

Learn about the history and meaning behind this traditional dance, and find out why lions are considered good luck for the Lunar New Year. Then, enjoy a brief performance, and join in the fun as the presenters teach the audience some lion dance moves! This festive, family-friendly event is great for all ages - come make some noise and celebrate the Lunar New Year with cheer and good fortune!

This event will be performed by the South Jersey Lion Dance Troupe.

This event is sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation Grand and  the Friends of the Ocean County Library - Waretown Branch
