Have Gardening Questions? The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Ocean County Can Help!


Whether you're planning a new garden, want help troubleshooting plant problems, or need advice on growing, the Rutgers Master Gardeners are ready to assist. Bring your gardening questions—along with photos or samples of insects, plants, shrubs, or trees—for identification, diagnosis, and recommendations.

The Rutgers Master Gardeners are trained and certified volunteers who partner with the Rutgers Cooperative Extension. They provide Ocean County residents with free, research-based information on sustainable gardening practices, soil health, pest management, native plants, composting, and much more.

No question is too big or small—whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, stop on by, we’re happy to help!
