Join us as Richard Dutton discusses modern Irish folktales and their many connections with centuries-old Irish customs, observances and traditions.

This talk will include a discussion of modern Irish folktales--those collected from rural Irish storytellers from about 1820 until about the middle of the twentieth century, mostly originally in the Irish language and translated into English--and their many connections with centuries-old Irish customs, observances and traditions.
