Marco Frisina is a world-renowned Italian composer of liturgical and religious songs and oratorios, numerous film scores, several operas and the recipient of numerous international awards. He founded a choir 40 years ago in the Diocese of Rome where he carries out his ministry. He is the Choir Master of the Pontifical Choir at the Basilica of St. John Lateran, Rector of the Basilica of Santa Cecilia, a sought-after lecturer as a scholar on Dante and a Biblical scholar. His choir of 300 voices sings all over the Diocese of Rome, throughout Italy and Europe. They often animate the liturgies before Pope Francis.
While Marco Frisina's music is only now finding recognition in the United States, it has long been popular throughout Europe and South America. His film scores have won awards and his operas are continually being produced by major companies.
My Name is Marco was produced in 2025 by Maestro Robert W. Butts, Lee Doswell, and board members of the non-profit charity Music for Faith, Inc.
