Learn about the ancient art and folk tradition of Pysanky, also known as Ukrainian eggs, at the Long Beach Island Branch. Presented by Jennifer Santa Maria. Space is limited. Please register.

Patterns are drawn on the egg with hot beeswax, which protects the covered areas from dye. Repeating this process creates a multi-colored pattern. When the wax is removed, colors that were covered are revealed. All skill levels welcome.
