You have heard that sourdough bread is better for you for many reasons, but not all sourdough is created equal. In an unregulated industry, the label “Sourdough” does not guarantee that you’re getting a bread that is good for you. This conversation will focus on helping you see through the marketing hype and understand how to get the full benefits of sourdough bread by becoming a better informed consumer. We’ll review the many benefits of the sourdough baking method and highlight the key issues that should be important to you when choosing your bread.
