Learn about the Lenape tribe, the native people of New Jersey, and make traditional coil pots out of clay. Presented by Debbie Hadley from WILD Jersey.
In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Debbie Hadley from WILD Jersey will talk about the Lenape tribe, the native people of New Jersey, and how they lived. She will then teach attendees the coil pot technique to make a decorative clay pot or bowl of their own design. Supplies will be provided, and attendees will be able to bring their creation home. Space is limited, so please be sure to register.
