Michelle Washington Wilson will tell stories of the courageous women who made a difference @ Mayo Park Center @ 501 Beacon Ave. Beachwood NJ. Sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation.

A pillar of fire is a symbol of those lighting the way for our journey. The State of New Jersey holds heroic stories of many women who lived and worked here, from Molly Pitcher in the Revolutionary War to the female Migrant Workers, picking parsley in the rain, just to adorn our plates, to the writings of great authors like Professor Nikki Giovanni, who taught at Rutgers University, and the legendary Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Michelle Washington Wilson, one of New Jersey’s favorite Storytellers, will tell stories of some of the courageous women who lived and made a difference around us and for us at Mayo Park Center @ Beachwood, NJ. Sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation.
