Summer Family Series: Grow with Me!

The Nurtured Heart Approach to Parenting

Join us and NJ4S Compass Preferred Behavior Health Group to learn about the nurtured heart approach to parenting.

Grow together as parent and child during our Summer Family Series: Grow with Me! This program provides parents and caregivers with a powerful set of strategies designed specifically to turn challenging children around to a new pattern of success. With a focus on positive reinforcement, communication techniques, and individualized support, this program empowers parents and caregivers to cultivate a nurturing environment that promotes the child’s overall development and well-being.

For children grades K-2, this session introduces children to what a conflict is and gives them tools to respond to and resolve conflict. Children will learn about "I-Statements" as a way of expressing feelings that focus on what they are feeling instead of on what others did. Through a story and activities children will experience how to use simple statements to explain their feelings in positive ways. 

Please register your family together. 

*There will also be a special guest, Marty, the therapy dog! *Potential allergen.
