Bob Kugel, author of "55 Years of Long Beach Island Beach Badges," will discuss LBI's fascinating badge history and how these small plastic tokens are infused with memories that bring us back to happy, sandy moments of summer innocence. Please register. The beach badge has been a fixture of Long Beach Island's summer season for over half a century. Bob Kugel's extensive LBI beach badge collection will also be on display in the Long Beach Island Library's lobby display case throughout the month of July.
